Welcome to The Prom Attire Event's home on the web. We are now celebrating our seventh year of service! Since 2006, we have been inviting all Centre County and surrounding area high school students 
to come and choose from our selection of gently used and new prom attire. There is also an option to recycle a clean, previously worn prom item in exchange for another item from our collection. Our goal is to make it possible for every local high school student to attend his or her prom without spending large amounts of money on something that is typically only worn once.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR, 2012 DATES ANNOUNCED!
Once again, The Prom Attire Event will be hosting its annual boutique weekends at the old Fairmount Avenue Elementary School located at 411 South Fraser Street in State College, PA.
Event dates have been announced for two weekends in March. We will be open Friday, March 23rd and 30th from 3:30 through 8PM. We will also be open Saturday, March 24th and 31st from 11AM through 5PM.
This year, there will be a $10 donation charge for gently used gowns and dresses and a $25 donation charge for brand new gowns and dresses. These fees will help offset event costs and enable us to expand our collection and serve more students. Alternately, you are still able to bring in a gown to exchange at no cost. Current styles and gently used (clean, no rips, spots, etc.) gowns only, please! Our seamstresses will be on site to offer free alterations and, of course, all accessories are complimentary!

2011 EVENT RECAP 
The 2011 Prom Attire Event was held over two weekends in March. The event took place in the cafeteria of the old Fairmount Avenue Elementary School at 411 South Fraser Street in State College, PA. In 2011, we were able to serve over 200 students across Centre County and the surrounding area.
