Congratulations to our Jr Miss Division winner, MaKenzie Ward!
Don't let her size fool you, this beautiful Alabama girl keeps her community on their toes as a member of "Dancer's Fighting Cancer", in honor of her friend Alex, 10 year old cancer survivor. Last year, they held a "Tapping Out Childhood Cancer" gala that raised over $7,000 for pediatric cancer research. We commend MaKenzie in her efforts and look forward to supporting her to raise funds at her next event!
MaKenzie is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and we hope she inspires you to do the same! Good luck to her as she pursues her future modeling and pageant career - We're sure it will be a successful one!

The Pageantry Spirit Award was created by Pageantry Magazine to award girls across the nation for promoting the true spirit of competition, character development, friendship and positive sportsmanship. We feel these qualities are something we strive to promote not only within our contest, but in our everyday lives. We know that our essay winners have had a powerful and positive influence on the lives of those they've touched through their volunteer efforts, and are proud to have them as Ashley Rene's 2009-2010 Pageantry Spirit Award Winners!
